WEBINAR: AI in the cockpit - a good idea?

Barry studied Psychology then Human Factors in the UK before working in four industries – nuclear power, oil and gas, maritime and aviation, three times leading Human Factors teams, and ran a twenty-country safety culture programme for a decade while at EUROCONTROL. More recently he has been working on human-AI teaming in aviation. He has published widely, including textbooks on Task Analysis and Human Reliability Assessment, and has a research ‘h’ score of 41. Most of his publications are available freely on ResearchGate. In 2024 he received a ‘lifetime achievement award from the UK’s Human Factors body (CIEHF). However, not taking the hint, he keeps working even though he is technically retired.
