2023 HFESNZ Conference
Update
A big thank you to our members for completing the conference survey on 13 February. Based on your feedback and discussions amongst the committees (HFESNZ and conference), we can confirm that the conference will remain at Millbrook Resort, Arrowtown from July 5th – 7th . The 2-day conference will be held on the 6th and 7th July, and we will open the conference with a ‘Welcome event’ on Wednesday 5th July at 5 pm. More information regarding costs and registration fees will be announced over the coming weeks.
Theme
The theme for our conference is on ‘service’ or ‘HFE serving people’. This year, we want to recognise those who have served our profession, and the many projects that have served, or will serve our people.
In addition to service, we celebrate coming together in the aftermath of COVID. We hope that you will join us in Arrowtown as we reconnect to celebrate service and what it means to our profession.
Presentations and Abstracts
If you have done a project where HFE has made a difference and served to improve the lives of others, we would appreciate your submission. The call for abstracts is now open and closes April 6th, 2023 with notification of acceptance by April 28th, 2023. Abstracts will have a maximum word limit of 400 words.
